Important Changes to AdsPilot Payouts – No More Corporate Checks

Beginning on June 1, 2010, there will be an important change to AdsPilot payouts. Due to high administrative overheads, we will be forced to stop payments to Publishers by corporate check. However, this change is a positive one for all AdsPilot members since it brings new and better opportunities.

Nevertheless, we do not plan to stop one payment method and leave you with no other options. This is why we are happy to announce new additions to the system:

  • AlertPay
  • Liberty Reserve

This is in additional to PayPal which AdsPilot current uses already. Here’s an explanation of how these two new options work.

AlertPay Send and Receive Money

An AlertPay account actually makes it easier and faster to get your money. You can send money through a member to member transfer (as we will send money to you) or through a member to non-member transfer. You can also shop online and use AlertPay to pay for your purchases. All you need to do is shop online as you normally would and use the “Buy Now” button, and AlertPay will automatically process the transaction, using your AlertPay balance to pay for the transaction.

They also have a “Request Money” feature that allows you to send an invoice to someone who owes you money or request funds from family and friends worldwide. You can request money from AlertPay members and you can also request funds from non-AlertPay members.

Withdrawing money is simple and fast. The process has been designed to help you get your money as quickly and easily as possible. You can withdraw by bank wire, credit card or check. You can even withdraw in your local currency if bank transfers are available in your country. You can request that a check be mailed to you or you can add your bank account to your AlertPay account and have the funds transferred to your bank via wire. Bank wire withdrawals are processed within 2-4 business days.

Checks are sent to you by regular mail and are issued in US Dollars. They send out the checks within 1-2 business days after your request. It’s that easy!

Liberty Reserve Send and Receive Money

Liberty Reserve also makes it quick and easy to send and receive money and of course, to withdraw the money that you need when AdsPilot pays you. Liberty Reserve has some great benefits that you can take into consideration first.

There is a Liberty Guard plugin for those users who use a Firefox browser. It has great security features that help you to be certain you are on a legitimate site. There is a blinking icon on the bottom right corner of Firefox when you visit the real Liberty Reserve web site. This icon says “You’re on LibertyReserve.com”. If the icon is not blinking then you are on a fake web site.

Liberty Reserve’s LibertyGuard features give you the security you want. There is no monthly fee and the balances do not fluctuate with the cost of gold as with some services of this type. There is a 1% transaction fee, much lower than competitors and maximum fee cap of only $2.99. This means that no matter how much money you withdraw, more of it stays where it belongs – with you.

The high fees are the main reason for this change in payout options. Additionally, Publishers in some countries come across high commission charged by local banks for such check clearance. Sometimes they charge up to 50% of the check total. We want to help you get more of your money, which you deserve.

Also it takes 3-4 weeks till Publishers receive our check, and then it takes more than 1-2 months for clearance. With the new online services we offer you get your money quicker and it’s cheaper than the previous payment method. All you need to do is to create an account at one of these services.

Again, these services are fit to the most Publishers’ countries. If you have an account with these services, you can withdraw your money by bank wire, credit/debit card, check or to your local bank via transfer if you choose. Remember, this still allows you to get your payment by check but it cuts out the process of waiting for it to come from us.

Both AlertPay and Liberty Reserve give you options to withdraw the money that meets your needs.

No Percentage Charges for PayPal, AlertPay and Liberty Reserve Transfers

It’s also important to know that all Internet payment methods incur a transaction fees from 3rd party providers. We do not charge the transaction fees in case when Publisher permanently shows the AdsPilot ads on his site at least for 6 consequent months. However, if you remove our html code from your website, we will charge administration fee in the next payment run. For more information, please read the AdsPilot TOS

Minimum Payouts

Minimum payouts still exist with these new payment methods. They are as follows:

  • PayPal, AlertPay and Liberty Reserve require a minimum of $20 in earnings.
  • The minimum amount for a Wire Transfer is $500.00. Publisher must send an Invoice to “Vidasco Corporation” no later than the 10th of each month for the previous month in order to receive the payment by bank wire on the agreed net-15 terms policy. A transaction fee will be applied, please read the AdsPilot TOS for more information.
  • The AdsPilot Account Credit has no minimum. You need to submit your request using our Contact Us form.

Great Benefits to Advertisers

Advertisers receive great benefits as well. So with these new online payment services we added, any Advertisers from different countries of the world will receive an opportunity to pay for AdsPilot services with minimum headache.

Before, there was just PayPal which does not work with all countries in the world (please see PayPal FAQ, you will find the information about countries PayPal is working with). Obviously these new services will bring more opportunities for Advertisers from around the world that experienced difficulties with PayPal payments. Now all the Advertiser needs is a registered account at any online payment processor specified above. AlertPay and Liberty Reserve accept payments from around the world.
